Fraser, Grand Lake school principals approved

New principals for Fraser Valley and Grand Lake elementary schools were approved at the East Grand Board of Education meeting on Tuesday, May 6.
The new principal for Fraser Valley Elementary is Joe Connors of Colorado Springs.
When he takes over his new position, it will be his first principal’s job. He is currently a physical education teacher with eight years experience. He is married with two school-age children.
Grand Lake Elementary’s new principal is Phyllis Price of Burlington. She is currently a first grade teacher and a Title 1 reading teacher. She is married to a retired Colorado State Patrol trooper and has two grown children. When she assumes her new position with the East Grand district, she will be a half-time principal and a half-time Title 1 reading teacher.
