Print Comment
If you’re looking for excitement, get to the arena in Granby on Saturday for another fast-paced rodeo of the 2008 Flying Heels Rodeo Series.

Cowboys and cowgirls of all ages will be giving it their all to win cash prizes and series points during the open and junior rodeo events.

The 2008 Flying Heels Rodeo Series takes place at the arena on U.S. Highway 40 in Granby. The junior rodeo starts at 3 p.m. with the open rodeo following at 7 p.m.

Along with all of its exciting rodeo events, this Saturday’s rodeo will also have several special events to honor Flag Day, June 14. All military personnel (with ID) get free admission. A flag retirement ceremony will be held.

Also planned for this Saturday’s rodeo, M Lazy C Ranch will be performing a fast-paced mounted shooting act and a special Purple Heart presentation.

Admission is $10 for adults and $4 for children ages 6-12 and seniors over age 65.

This Saturday’s rodeo is just one of rodeos of the 2008 Flying Heels Rodeo Series, which holds a rodeo every Saturday from Memorial Day through the Fourth of July.
