Granby's Flying Heels Rodeo wraps up season on Saturday

If you’re looking for excitement this Fourth of July weekend, get to the arena in Granby on Saturday for the final fast-paced rodeo of the 2008 Flying Heels Rodeo Series.

Cowboys and cowgirls of all ages will be giving it their all to win the cash prizes and final series points during the Flying Heels’ open and junior rodeo events. The 2008 Flying Heels Rodeo Series is held at the arena on U.S. Highway 40 in Granby.

The Buck-A-Roo Junior Rodeo starts at 3 p.m. with the Open Rodeo following at 7 p.m. Series awards will be presented after the events are finished with the Granby fireworks starting at 9:30 p.m.

Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for children ages 6-12 and seniors over age 65.

This Saturday’s rodeo is the final one of the 2008 Flying Heels Rodeo Series, which has held a rodeo every Saturday since the Memorial Day weekend.
