Granby Chamber sends a big “Thank You” for fishing tournament

To the Editor:

Thanks to our business sponsors and many volunteers for our very successful 2nd annual Granby Fly Fishing Festival at Edgewater Resort on the Fraser River. Our sponsors invested in our community vision with their important support — Edgewater Resort, Granby Ranch, Sportsman's Warehouse, Orvis Shorefox and the town of Granby.

Special thanks to our volunteers who made this family-friendly event happen. Eric Anderson, Becky Brosh, Tess Conger, Misty Emerson, Corrine Lively, and Bruning Rangel. Our knowledgeable instructors Char Bloom, Peter Butrymovich, Hank Kirwan, Kirk Klancke, and Collin Papuga shared important environmental education and fly-fishing tips.

A special thanks goes out to Terry Peterson for leading the way to our successful 2nd annual Fly Fishing Festival Fly-fishing is a sport the entire family can enjoy at any age, especially in the Granby area. We thank all of those who helped us promote this healthy, environmentally friendly sport.
