Jail Log: Grand County jail population drops to 33

The number of prisoners being held at the Grand County Jail declined over the past week.

Last week, the jail in Hot Sulphur Springs was holding 35 inmates. As of Monday, Sept. 22, it was holding 33.

Those individuals booked at the jail over the past few days, the charges filed against them and the dates of their bookings are:

Javier F. Rangel, 29, of Granby, failing to perform the required public service, driving after license was under restraint and failing to yield the right of way, Sept. 16
Brian E. Maurath, 44, of Lakewood, driving after license was under restraint, Sept. 16, Mittimus

Matthew M. Curran, 40, of Los Angeles, Calif., failure to appear on a charge of criminal mischief and theft $1,000 to $20,000, Sept. 16

William T. Buckner, 50, of Winter Park, driving after license was under suspension, Sept. 17

Joshua A. Nanfito, 35, of Tabernash, driving after license was under restraint due to an alcohol violation, violation of a restraining order and violation of bail bond conditions, Sept. 17

Joshua D. Burner, 18, of Grand Lake, consumption of alcohol by a minor, possession of drug paraphernalia and failure to appear, Sept. 17
