To the Editor:

The members of the Grand County Model Railroad Club would like to than all the citizens of Grand county for their continued support for our project.

We had 1,200 or so adults and children visit the Model Railroad Christmas display that we built at Granby Town Hall. The turnout was over a six-week period and was considered a huge success.

At present, we are in negotiations with the town of Granby to lease land next to Kaibab ball fields to build our 4,000-square-foot model railroad building and the 4,000-square-foot Moffat Railroad Museum. We will also have a railroad interpretive center/park with several cars and a locomotive.
