About Us




The Sky-Hi Daily News launched in Oct. 15, 2007 as the consolidation of three weekly newspapers serving Grand County.

The Sky-Hi Daily News offers breaking news and regular updates on its Web site seven days a week.

Its print edition publishes three days a week — Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

The Middle Park Times is published on Thursdays as a week-in-review edition and is distributed as a paid subscription paper.

The Sky-Hi Daily News has an average circulation of 4,500.

Its penetration of the Grand County market is 95 percent.

Online, www.skyhidailynews.com site, sees 40,000 Web visitors a month with an average of 140,000 page views.

Sky-Hi Daily News covers Grand County — a readership area that includes the Winter Park Ski Resort, Rocky Mountain National Park, Arapaho National Forest and the towns of Winter Park, Fraser, Tabernash, Granby, Hot Sulphur Springs, Kremmling and Radium.

Skyhidailynews.com, the Sky-Hi Daily News and Middle Park Times are owned by Colorado Mountain News Media. CMNM is part of a family-owned company, Swift Communications, with a staff of 350 full and part-time employees.

CMNM also owns The Aspen Times, Vail Daily, Summit Daily News, Glenwood Springs Post Independent and the Grand Junction Free Press.
