Summit County's Jim Gulley missing in Haiti

FRISCO - According to Breckenridge resident Gene Copeland, Frisco resident Jim Gulley was in Haiti during Tuesday's earthquake.Gulley was last heard to have left his hotel - Hotel Montana in Port-au-Prince - to go to the airport for a return trip home two hours before the quake. It's so far unknown what Gulley was doing in Haiti."All we know is that he is missing, said Jo Copeland, also of Breckenridge. She explained that Gulley is involved in international missionary work.Local Rotarian and missionary worker Deb Hage said Hotel Montana is the major hotel in Haiti "where we do most of our meetings."To donate funds for aid work in Haiti, text "Haiti" to 90999 - it will create a $10 donation to go to the Red Cross.Caitlin Row can be reached at (970) 668-4633 or at crow@summitdaily.comGulley led a trip to Senegal from Summit County last fall.
