The Grand Lake entrance station of Rocky Mountain National Park, which has been under construction since October 2009, is set to be up and running by the end of this month.

The west entrance will have two main entrance stations and an automatic gate for annual pass holders, similar to the one on the east entrance of the park. In addition, the entrance will have correct lane width, and the stations will be equipped with proper ventilation and a security system.
