Due to the overwhelming response from potential host cities USA Pro Cycling Challenge organizers are not ready to announce the 2012 cities, said Allison Johnson, host city communications representative.
“We need more time to evaluate and hope to make the announcement soon,” she said on Monday, Nov. 28.
In October, Winter Park submitted a bid to be a host city for the August 2012 USA Pro Cycling event.
The organization originally stated the announcement of host cities would be made by the end of November.
