Knut Erik Jensen plays free concert on May 4

Storfjell Sons of Norway Lodge of Grand County will host Knut Erik Jensen in a free community concert at 7 p.m. on Friday, May 4, at the Church of the Eternal Hills, Tabernash.

Jensen is a world renowned musician who was born, raised and received his musical education in Norway. His special interest is in the music coming from his homeland, and his goal has been to bring Norwegian culture and music to foreign countries with a special emphasis on the work of Edvard Grieg.

Jensen has been on several U.S. tours, and he has been able to present his musical talents at more than 90 concerts throughout North America. His unusually rich musical background has given him versatility in many different musical genres such as classical solo piano, vocal and accordion.

"The Knut Experience," in the words of Knut, "is simply a presentation of music. Good music. I hope you enjoy it!"

A reception will follow in the fellowship hall with Scandinavian refreshments and other refreshments.
