Charles E. Sahli
Charles E. Sahli of Colorado Springs died in his home on November 9, 2012, at the age of 82. Born to John C. and Hilda E. Sahli on Aug. 8, 1930, in Warren, Ohio, Mr. Sahli enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1948 in Allen Park, Mich. A Korean Combat Veteran with the 37th FA BN 2nd Division, he was awarded a Commendation Ribbon with medal pendant for meritorious service and was honorably discharged in 1952. He worked at Fort Carson and the Air Force Academy until retirement.
Charles loved league bowling , photography, playing the steel guitar, and most of all, he was dedicated to country and family. He was a member of the Lutheran Church and the Korean War Veterans Association in Colorado Springs.
He is survived by sister Elaine Arguien and husband Paul of Grand Lake; niece Lesley Denboske and husband Rob and son Jordan; nephew Paul Arguien II of Aurora and his childrenTanner, Karissa, and Kristin in Colorado Springs; another nephew John Arguien of Granby and his children, Alysha and Kacy of Crawford.
A private family remembrance was conducted.
