Mountain Report March 22

Champagne powder at Winter Park Resort/Mary Jane today. The resort reported 6 inches in the past 24 hours and the forecast calls for snow throughout the weekend, according to the National Weather Service.

The morning was sunny with a little wind towards the top of the mountain. Snow is expected to start falling this afternoon and could bring more than 3 inches tonight with a possibility of 2 to 4 inches during the day on Saturday.

It's a good weekend to get out there and ride, though bundle up if you do as temperatures are predicted to be highs in the high teens and low twenties and lows in the single digits.
