The public hearing for the proposed annexation of the Byers Peak Ranch development continued Wednesday with testimony being provided by a number of citizens who voiced their concerns about the proposed development.
The continuation of the hearing was the last chance for citizens to submit verbal comments about the proposed annexation as the Fraser Board of Trustees unanimously voted to close the verbal comment period. The board also voted to allow for written comments to continue to be submitted until the public hearing continues on April 24 during the regular meeting of the Fraser Board of Trustees.
During the April 24 continuation of the hearing, the applicant for the annexation, Byers peak Properties LLC, will have the opportunity to respond to public comments as will the Fraser Board of Trustees. After both the applicants' and board's comments have been submitted, the board will deliberate about the annexation.
All information pertaining to the proposed annexation can be found at the Town of Fraser's website at frasercolorado.com. Under the government tab, click on the Board of Trustees link and the information can be found towards the bottom of the page.
You can submit a written comment about the proposed annexation to the Fraser Town Clerk Lu Berger electronically by emailing your comment to firstname.lastname@example.org or your can submit a hard copy to Berger at the Fraser Town Hall.
