Plans to provide Fraser water to Byers Peak move forward

FRASER—Fraser’s board of trustees is moving forward with plans to supply the proposed Byers Peak development, located to the southwest of town, with water and sewer service.

The board is planning to adopt a resolution that would amend the Fraser Municipal Code to allow for serving the development at its next meeting scheduled for March 5.

The board will also hear a presentation from its consultants that have been working on the agreement to provide town water and sewer service to the development during its March 5 meeting that it hopes will help to inform the public about the project.

The board and the town’s staff have been working on the agreement to provide the development with water and sewer service and hope to have that agreement approved by the end of March.
