Warning issued June 24 for extreme fire conditions in Grand & Summit counties

A red flag warning has been issued in Grand and Summit counties below 9,000 feet until 8 p.m. tonight, June 24. Such warnings mean that critical fire weather conditions are either occurring now or will shortly. A combination of strong winds, low relative humidity and warm temperatures can contribute to extreme fire behavior.
