Good Neighbor: Devils Thumb Ranch

Shelley Madsen, special education professional at East Grand Middle School, nominated Devil’s Thumb Ranch for the Good Neighbor award. She writes:
“The Devil’s Thumb Ranch stables graciously hosted our class of special needs students from East Grand Middle School. Garth and Nikki at the Stables could not have given our students a more positive experience. They were helpful, patient, and showed everyone a great time. Garth and Nikki took us on a morning feed sleigh ride. Our students were able to interact, feed and pet with all the animals on the ranch. After we fed all the cows and horses we then continued with a scenic sleigh ride around the ranch. We finished our mornings warming up by the campfire with hot chocolate and s’mores. One of our students enjoyed his first s’more, exciting! Everyone loved their time at the ranch and we owe it all to our new friends Garth and Nikki. Truly a memorable experience. Thank you.
