Due to the ongoing construction project, the Granby Library will be closed on Wednesday, Oct. 31 – Sunday, Nov. 4. The afterschool programs and the preschool story hours on Wednesday, Oct. 31, and Thursday, Nov. 1, will be canceled. All other district library branches will be open regular hours or visit www.gcld.org anytime.
The library Annex will open on Monday Nov. 5, at 9 a.m. with a fresh cup of coffee available to all those who visit the library between 9 and 10 a.m. The public will have access through the meeting room door to the library Annex in the east end of the building. A full range of library services will be available in the Annex, including story hour, after-school club, book services with new books, periodicals and newspapers, book ordering from libraries throughout the state, as well as eight public computers and comfortable seating areas. The library Annex hours will be: Monday 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Friday 12 p.m. -5 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday 1 p.m.-5 p.m. It is anticipated that the construction project will be fully completed and the entire building reopened in the first week of January. The Grand County Library District appreciates everyone’s cooperation.
