WINTER PARK — Altitude Jewelry is hosting a grand opening celebration at its new retail location in Cooper Creek Square in downtown Winter Park from 5-8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 9.
During this celebration, a grand prize drawing for a $250 shopping spree will be awarded to one lucky attendee. There also will be a free jewelry drawing every hour. Light refreshments will be served.
Altitude Jewelry is a growing jewelry manufacturing business, which got its start as a home-based business in Winter Park four years ago. After three years of growth, it was time for the business to move out of the home and open its own retail location.
Jewelry manufacturing continues to take place at Altitude Jewelry and people can observe the process at the new location.
“We have nearly doubled our sales in the last year and we’re continuing to see excellent response from our retail customers who are located all across the United States,” said Rachel Rayburn, the owner and manager of the business.
“We’re proud to say we’re made in Winter Park, Colorado, and we look forward to operating out of our new retail location in Cooper Creek Square,” Rayburn said.
The new store primarily will carry jewelry in copper and silver designed and made by Rayburn. However, the store will also carry other lines as well, giving customers a wide range of options.
Altitude Jewelry has worked with the Grand Enterprise Initiative and its Enterprise Facilitator Patrick Brower in helping with the expansion of this Winter Park-based business. Brower provides free and confidential business management coaching to anyone wanting to start or expand a business in Grand County. He can be reached at 970-531-0632.
