Enjoy weekly guided mountain bike rides in the Fraser Valley
Ryan Summerlin July 27, 2012
Every Saturday morning through the summer, visitors and residents can ride with Dallas Timms on trails through the Fraser Valley.
Timms, 33, a Tabernash resident, wanted to offer visitors a glimpse of the “amazing” trail system when he realized there were no group rides available to guests.
The ride starts at 9:30 a.m. from the Alco parking lot in Fraser and ends about two hours later, says Timms.
He hopes after each ride, mountain bikers will join him in various restaurants for coffee.
Bike rentals are offered through Beaver Village Sports Shop in Winter Park and Totally Wired in Fraser.
The rides are for beginner and intermediate mountain bikers and each week will be different based on the ability of participants.
“The ride is in a fun, friendly environment and for people who just want to ride with people and experience new trails,” he said.
