Miller is the best steward for Grand County
Andy Miller is running a very non-partisan race for County Commissioner, District 1. He has the best interests of the entire county in his platform. We are all in it together and, unlike his opponent, Andy knows Grand County – its developmental, cultural and geographic histories since before our county really started growing. Having learned from the past, this is critical knowledge, necessary for making good decisions about our county’s future.
Folks who have lived here for a long time are familiar with The Code of the West, which encompasses the entire county, East and West, both ranching and resort. There is a Grand County way of doing things, a live and let live, supportive rural attitude, not really corporate or militaristic. Andy embodies this way of life with all his building projects including houses, huts, bridges, day care centers, his history of service to the communities, his environmental protection attitudes and his ideas for smart growth to help our resident and visitor families to do well while enjoying a great quality of life. No one can know this county and its folks as well as someone like Andy who has lived here for 40 years and worked, hiked, biked, skied and driven both ends, the top and the bottom of Grand. In short, Andy would make the best steward for Grand County moving forward. He is honest, fair, sincere, loves to listen to what folks have to say and will insist on transparency in our county government.
