To the Editor:
Over-mountain water diversions, stream flows and water quality are critical and complex issues for Grand County. The county and its commissioners have been negotiating with stakeholders for years for solutions to long-standing economic and environmental concerns.
Now is not the time to change horses mid-stream when progress is being made on these issues. Two new commissioners could set back the process because of information learning curves or different agendas and opinions.
Let’s keep moving forward on pending solutions. Re-elect James Newberry.
