Letter: Watts, Taking down political signs is theft

Taking down political signs is theft
I am an avid supporter of Darryl Glenn for the US Senate. I find him to be an honorable, hard working and thinking person. I've been distributing his signs throughout the county. Have placed them on county road sides and with property owners. I'm finding a disturbing and troubling occurrence – the removal or knock-down of those signs. this has happened repeatedly and in various locations so I presume that it is more than one person. I've talked with the county and some of the towns and know that my Glenn signs are put out legally. It is very apparent that opponents think that pulling them out or taking them away is okay. In fact, this is vandalism or theft. We know that the left is all about freedom of speech as long as you speak their language. Such opponents don't seem to be proud enough of their candidate to put signs out for him however. Maybe they are racists, bigots and just don't care about our constitutional right to freedom of speech. Perhaps one of them would have guts enough to call me and explain this despicable behavior.
