William “Bill” Bishop
Bill was born in Pittsburgh, PA on November 1st, 1948, to Leona and Richard Bishop. He graduated from Montour High School and also attended UTEP, San Diego State and Metro State College.
Bill married Diane Hoffman on November 1st, 1970, and began their 42 year marriage filled with many adventures. Bill was a true “jack of all trades” and enjoyed the challenge of learning a new skill. He found his true passion and success in construction and was immersed in it for 30 plus years.
Bill also loved the outdoors and planned many trips that revolved around hunting and fishing with his dad, brothers, cousins and nephews. He loved to be out in the wilderness and enjoyed the challenge of a hunt. If Bill wasn’t working you could find him deep in the mountains hunting for his next trophy animal.
Bill is survived by his wife of 42 years, Diane Bishop, sons Zane and Wade and daughter Sage Frane. He also has four beautiful grandchildren; Beau, Harper, Sloane and Gunner, two daughter-in-laws; Leah and Sarah and a son-in-law; Jordan, his mother Leona Bunch and three brothers Denise, Bob and Wayne and sister Shirley.
There will be a short service with Bill’s family and friends at the Fraser Valley Historic Church on Friday, November 2nd, 2012, @ 11:30 with a reception to immediately follow.
