Pole Creek ladies league update

On Thursday, June 9 the Pole Creek ladies golf league enjoyed a spectacular day of golf playing a "Best 9 Holes" tournament. After they completed their round, they picked the Meadow or the Ridge for their best nine-hole score. The Low Gross winners were: 1st Place Tie} Maggy Helm and Lori Myers 42, 2nd Place Susie Noel 43, 3rd Place Deb Kohlwey 44. The Low Net winners (minus 1/2 handicap) were: 1st Place Tie} Diane Bishop and Julie Richards 33, 2nd Place Tie} Mary Brooks and Madelyne Stevens 34, 3rd Place Tie} Pam Brown, Beth Daniels,Darlene Klancke, Jeanne Anne MacDonald,Susan Odneal, and Andrea Singleton 35. Julie Richards had the fewest putts with 31. Jeanne Anne MacDonald and Andrea Singleton shared the large chip in pot. Men and Ladies get your team ready for the Thursday July 7 Rural Health tournament and sign up in the Pro Shop.
On Thursday June 16 the Pole Creek Ladies golf league hosted their 2nd annual Prospective Member Guest tournament. The format this year was a two-person Chapman Format, where the partners hit alternate shots. There were plenty of laughs, smiles and "I'm sorry partner" shots. The guest winners were: 1st Place Mary Regehr, 2nd Place Jennifer Croft, 3rd Place tie} Jen Flores and Tina Shearon. Closest to the pin was Nancy McGee, Longest Putt was Tina Shearon, Longest Drive was Wendy Kohrt. The Pole Creek Ladies welcome all the guests back to join in the weekly fun!
On Thursday July 23 the Pole Creek Ladies golf league played a "Better Ball plus Two "Threes" partner event. Both partner's Net scores were used on all the Par 3's, and the lower of the partner's Net score was used on all the other holes. The winners were: 1st Place Team Tie} Norma Colosimo and Maggy Helm 75, Jeanne Anne MacDonald and Sandy Williams 75. 2nd Place Team Tie} Lori Myers and Mary Regehr 76, Diane Bishop and Darlene Klancke 76. 3rd Place Team Tie} Mary Brooks and Pat Venzke 78, Julie Sawyer and Beth Daniel 78. Maggy Helm had 2 chip ins and Pam Brown and Susie Masterson both had 1. Darlene Klancke, Deb Kohlwey, Jeanne Anne MacDonald, Katie Simpson and Helen Brown had the fewest putts with 31.
