Grand County, like most Colorado Counties, will be conducting the election as a mail ballot election. All active and inactive (failed to vote) registered Democratic, Republican, and American Constitution Party voters will be mailed a ballot during the week of June 4.
Voters who are not registered with a political party (unaffiliated voters) may affiliate with one of the major political parties (Democratic, Republican, or American Constitution Party) to request a ballot. That request can be made until 7 p.m. on Tuesday, June 26. Affiliation forms are available on the County Web page at www.co.grand.co.us.
In order for a voter to change his or her affiliation from any political party to one of the major political parties, the voter must change that affiliation no later than May 25. Changes of affiliation forms are available on the County web page at www.co.grand.co.us. Changes can be made online at the county’s web page.
The last day to register to vote in the June 26 Primary Election is May 29. Voter registration forms are available on the County’s web page as well as access to www.govotecolorado.com to register to vote.
